Check in the featured Items section and you can buy a rack that holds three extinguishers. Once you buy that you can buy them at the stove or you can buy them cheaper at The Grocery Store. There is no fire extingisher. (that I’ve found) But I think your best bet would be to buy smoke detecters. I think you can find them in the electronics area. Or, just stay away from the fire code…

I’ve played the Firefighter career three times so far, three different Sims, three different towns, and this last one after uninstalling the game from my laptop entirely, and then reinstalling and starting fresh; and in none of them have I been able to find the fire extinguisher.
